NY: Garden City. An over-sized collection of 18 nonsense poems by Lear with witty color illustrations throughout by Palazzo who also selected the poems for this book. Blue cloth library binding with the lettering & on which is a picture of the owl and the pussycat embossed. Spine ends are a little frayed, corners a little bumped & rubbed, some soil. Inside the cover are blank end papers which have library stamps, pocket remnant and light soil. Following the blank end paper are the real end papers from the trade edition of this book which feature colorful multi images of characters & animals from the poems. Overall, a solid copy.
