J. Hatchard and Son, 1832. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Early 19th century full black calf with lightly raised bands to spine and two burgandy spine labels titled in gilt. Some gilt panelling between raised bands. Normal wear to extremities with some rubbing at head & tail of spine - NO CHIPPING & NO SPLITTING to boards. Old hand marbled endpapers & marbled closed textblock edges. Internally clean with nice armorial bookplate of the Rev. Tho. Scard to front endpaper - his signature to head of titlepage. Endpapers ORIGINAL & UNSPLIT. NO LOOSE & NO MISSING. An attractively bound copy..
