Good. 148 pp; plus 9 pages of advertising; superb collection of b & w photos of the Eighth Regiment of Massachusetts at Chickamauga Park with views of the Regiment and complete history of each company from founding to time of writing; has name of previous owner and date of 1898 on first blank page; first 4 pages have separated from binding; first signature very loose, but still attached; front hinge split; rear hinge partially split; boards slightly stained; binding very loose; includes a loose, browned newspaper article cut from the Beverly, MA newspaper dated August 29, 1930; the headline of which reads " CO. E. 8TH. MASS. U.S.V. MARKS THIRTY-FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF MUSTERING OUT OF THE REGIMENT; with 2 photos; interior pages all clean and free of marks; published in landscape format.
