About This Item

[San Francisco?]: np, 1965. Very good.. An uncommon, [likely] pre-Stonewall gay men's magazine. With 32 full page, full male nude, color photograph reproductions. No place of publication, though backgrounds and environs suggest San Francisco. Gay interest magazines of the era often masqueraded as bodybuilding publications and avoided full nudity, which is most definitely not the case with thie premiere issue of EL TORO. Wraps. 4to. Pictorial color wrappers. Stapled. Mild handling wear creased at spine. A single folded leaf loose from staples. Overall sound, clean.
