An excellent example. Houzeau I, 10934. The German mathematician, astronomer, and theologian Johann Georg Liebknecht was a member of the Royal Society and correspondent of Leibniz. The present work, divided into three books, is equal parts mathematics, astronomy, geography, surveying, and navigation. Much of the content pertains to the scientific instruments each field employed in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. N. B.
