Translated from the French with an introduction, notes, and additions, by C.S. Henry. Covers have been rather crudely re-attatched with some loss of surface leather at hinges. Front free endsheet re-glued and lacking a portion at gutter. Foxed throughout. A serviceable and firm copy of one of the most vital books on the psychological sciences- The first book in English to mention the word "Psychology". This first edition is exceedingly rare and very infrequently offered for sale to the general public.
