Emerson's Essays by Ralph Waldo Emerson - 1918: Select Essays and Addresses including The American Scholar

Emerson's Essays Macmillan's Pocket Edition (please see photo). I would say this is fair to poor mainly because of the cover flaw. (it has a cross wear in the front and back that feels like they were bent back). It does open and close nicely. Endwear on the corners of the book and spine. Spine has fading and some damage. (see photos) An ex library copy that became a personal copy. The flyleaf and end papers have notes in mostly pencil. Interior is completely readable and in good condition. There are a few (not many) notes or underlines in pencil. I've listed all the flaws -- but really this is in good readable condition and would work well for an Emerson fan.
