Nervous and Mental Disease Monograph Series No. 39. Scarce vintage monograph translated from the German. The author, Constantin von Monakow (1853-1930) was a Russian-Swiss neuropathologist. Contents: Translator's Preface; General Considerations; Structural and Functional Factors; Tentative Organization of the Emotions, Instincts, and Morality; Anatomical Structures and Physiological Functions; Recaptulation of Preceding Chapters; Pathology of the Emotions; Dissolution and Resolution of Morality; Final Observations.
