Wedgwood Hardback, 1960 reprint (first published 1939, reprinted 1949 and 1954), illustrated and containing foldout genealogical table, published by Jonathan Cape, London, 655 pages.
Octavo/8vo, measures around 8 3/4" by 6 1/8" by 1 5/8". Pictorial dust jacket displays some age-related marking, scuffing and a some wear and tattering at the edges but reasonably clean, with a little discolouration to spine. Brown cloth binding, gilt crest to front board and gilt lettering to spine. Binding very clean and colouring vivid. Signs of wear, a little rubbing at edges. A little slackness to binding but book contents tight. Page edges scuffed but very clean for age, only the slightest of marking. Previous owner inscription to front pastedown but page surfaces very clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
