A very clean very tight copy with unmarked black cloth boards, clear gilt lettering to spine, rubbed spine ends, foxing to slightly tanned page edges and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or torn or creased with tiny mark to rear and rubbing to ends of well-sunned spine. Now protected in a fully-removable transparent sleeve. 286pp. Written by the author of 'Horn & Hound', this study covers the field sports of foxhunting, hare coursing, falconry, fishing, polecats, stoats and weasel hunting plus old hunting prints. It then goes into Africa and big-game hunting including elephants. Tucked in is a period Lonsdale Library bookmark. Scarce in dust jacket.. First Edition. Hard Cover.
