Hardcover. 8vo, 23.5cm, in 6 volumes, xiv,398 & 411 & 396 & 400 & 401 & 398,104pp., with 22 colour plates, 185 illustrations, 32 maps, original red fabrikoid, gilt spine titles, very good to fine set (cnds). - Contributors include Harold A. Innis, Gustave Lanctot, A.G. Doughty, and J. Clarence Webster. Originally published in 1935-1937, the 1948-1949 edition includes the Newfoundland supplement edited by Robert H. Blackburn. An important Canadian reference.
