Topics include: the history of architecture, principles of architecture, the orders, Tuscan order, Doric order, Ionic Order, Corinthian Order, Composite order; pilasters, attics, caryatides (sic), pedestals, arches etc. 4to. Blue buckram with gilt title at spine (Britannica 1797). Internally, pages bright and fresh, very clean. Plates are immaculate.
