London, UK: Cassell and Company, 1925. Hardcover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Uniform edition. 356pp. In blue cloth-covered boards, titles blind stamped on front panel, with gilt titles on spine. 12mo. Boards rubbed at edges, rounded on corners and spine ends, unevenly faded, sunned over spine. Raw indentation on fore-edge. Endpapers tanned, front hinge cracked. A little tanning in margins for first and last few leaves. Sheila Kaye-Smith was a popular English novelist, known for her many novels set in borderland country between Sussex and Kent.
