Oxford Printed at the Theater in Oxford and are to be sold by George West, 1671, hardcover. Whitby's early work published 1671 addresses "false uncertain Mammon" and includes significant amount of his Latin and Greek references for his theory. 411 pages, plus bound in are an Addenda and Errata. -- Hardcover, nice later rebinding 3/4 leather over marbled boards; inner margins are tight but readable. Condition: very good (light scuff to raised bands; text has light damp-stains; a few early blue-pencil marks). -- Collated and complete; several pages are misnumbered but the catchwords are correct.
