Macmillan, 1930. First Edition. Hardcover. Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Three volume set published over a five year period, 1930-35. Vol. One is second impression 1931, Vol. Two first impression 1932, Vol. Three first impression 1935. Good and sound set sans dust jackets. Paper spine labels are a little darkened, rubbed and chipped. Cloth on spines is faded. Two vols. were Epsom College prizes and have the gilt college badge on their front boards and College bookplates to front pastedowns. Gift note laid onto front pastedown of Vol. Ones. 438 + 333 + 241 pages, plates, index to each vol.. Approx. size 9" by 6". Quantity Available: 1.
