Very minor shelf and handling wear to edges; first page is age toned around edges. Otherwise, overall, a clean, solid copy with minimal signs of use. Binding and text block are tight, bright, and clean with no ownership markings or bookplates. Bound in full (genuine) leather with hubbed spine. Embossed in 22kt gold on the spine and front and back covers. Heavy duty binding boards. Printed on acid-neutral, archival paper. All edges gilt. Smyth sewn with concealed muslin joints and permanent satin ribbon marker. Photo is of the copy we have at Barbed Wire Books.
Synopsis
No Enemy But Time is a 1982 science fiction novel by Michael Bishop. It won the 1982 Nebula Award for Best Novel, and was also nominated for the 1983 John W. Campbell Memorial Award. The novel follows the story of a modern black American man who is able to mentally project himself back to pre-human Africa, where he meets (and eventually mates) with humanity's prehistoric ancestors.
