The text is illustrated with the aforementioned 16 pages of coloured plates, along with some black-and-white line drawings in the essay. Illustrated covers with black coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. A small book on the English ballet, with a emphasis on costume and stage design. A King Penguin – number 20. Chipping to the backstrip edges, with some bumping of the book corners. Rubbing and foxing to the book panels. There is a score to the front panel, measuring 2.5 ". A small bump to the front fore edge. Light age toning of the text block edges with some foxing to the top text edges. Faint foxing to the endpapers and the occasional foxing spot to the pages. Darkening of the back strip. Second Edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [6], 7-35, [17 – of which 16 are coloured reproductions of ballet designs) pages,.
