New York: Macmillan, 1919. Red hardcover cloth binding decorated and titles in gilt. Rubbing along edges, hinges good, slight crack next to half-title age. Copyright page shows 1918 - set up and electrotyped Published October 1918. Title page shows 1919 (MCMXIX). Very slight separation of title page bottom 2". Endpapers illustrated with green line drawings of boy and girl - some foxing and stains on endpapers. 15 color plates in addition to color frontispiece all intact with tissue paper inserts. Many b/w throughout the text. Interior clean and tight. 41 Fairy Tale - some familiar, some not well known. 363 pages plus ads. A very nice copy.. Illus. by Rackham, Arthur. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Hardcover. Near Very Good/No Jacket.
