Octavo (19cm); one quarter brown leather with printed paper covered boards; xv, 17-240pp. Leather portions chapped, spots of material loss along/near extremities; paper also rubbed w/ some material loss, also soiled, dampstained, and toned; leading corners fraying. Textblock comprehensively foxed; Ben and Bernarda Shahn estate label tipped to front pastedown; inscription and notes from publishers on ffep (dated 1855). Good, but very sound and complete.
