Browny-orange cloth-covered boards (sharp and clean barring minor rounding at spine tips). Internally neat, clean and tight barring a small library stamps on the title page and the remnants of a reference library bookplate on front paste down. Some mild spotting on text block edge. In its original, lightly edge worn and slightly faded, dust jacket. Perhaps the clearest and most authoritative guide to English Clocks of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries without having to delve into specialist treatise and academic papers. 8vo.
