London: Oxford University Press, 1954. First UK Edition/First Printing. Hardcover. Fair/Good. In dark blue cloth and gilt to type. Ding to bottom front corner and some edgewear with toning to paper. Previous owner's name and attribution to front pastedown. Front and rear hinges mostly split with mull showing, but binding still holding. Jacket is price-clipped with small chips and a tear to corners, a few tears to head of spine and small chips to both ends with large floating chip at top. Spine is tanned with some marks, small stains.
