Writings of Bacon, Hobbes, Locke, Berkeley, Hume, John Gay, Bentham, James Mill, John Stuart Mill. 8vo, gray cloth with faded gilt lettering and ML logo in green insets, faded gray topstain, other edges age-toned, brown end papers with ML logo-based decoration, moderate wear to corners/crown/heel, bookstore sticker on ffep. Name of former owner written on ffep, marginalia here and there throughout - Locke's "Civil Government" is heavily annotated; John Day on "Virtue", Bacon's "Novum Organum", and the Introduction moderately; a smattering of small marks/underscoring/notes in other extracts. Will incur shipping surcharge becaue of the book's weight.
