About This Item
London : A & C Black Ltd, 1935 A good copy of the 1st edition in good to very good contemporary wrapper. This title was originally the second part of 'Mike' and was published separately in 1935 because it stands alone and introduces the highly popular Psmith. The wrapper (which features a picture of Psmith as if he is around 30), is complete and not price-clipped. There is some nibbling at the top and bottom of the spine with slight loss and similar at the top of the front fold. There are couple of small edge tears at the bottom edge with archive tape repair. The back panel and back fold are slightly grubby. The inside of the wrap has some browning and spotting. The book is clean and sound. The spine and board edges are faded and there is a crease in the middle of the spine at the top. Corners with light wear - more on the bottom corner of the back board. The contents are very clean with light toning to paper and occasional spotting at the page edge.

About E C Books
E C Books is a small online bookselling business, specialising in pre 20th century works:natural history, science, history, and travel, aiming for rarer and more unusual books. Our largest stock area is Natural History, where we have a good range of books from the 1700-1800's, many finely illustrated. Other areas include children's books, particularly late 1800's-early 1900's - again illustrated; and literature pre 1900.When you order books from us we ensure that they are properly packed to protect condition, and we always use recorded or 'signed for' postal services for more secure delivery. Please note that we have recently moved to the beautiful Orkney Islands, where we intend to open a bookshop over the next year. Because of our location we cannot guarantee 'next day' delivery but we will get your purchase to you as quickly and safely as we can. Please note that the buyer is responsible for the payment of any tax or duty on import.
