Bound in quarter leather and brown cloth, blocked with a gilt Celtic knotwork design by the artist with gilt titles to spine, top edge brown with brown endpapers. Housed in a matching brown paper covered slipcase. Fine in a Fine slipcase. First folio edition of this attractive collection of seven medieval epics, including The Song of Roland, The Song of William, and Cid. With sixteen vibrantly coloured surreal illustrations by John Vernon Lord. As this is much heavier than the average book additional postage fees will be requested for overseas customers.
