Original printed paper boards, sympathetically rebacked in beige cloth with original printed spine label laid down. Chipping and staining to covers, internally clean and sound. Very good.
The first from a total of ten original volumes of this occult periodical from the A∴A∴ This esoteric order was co-founded by Crowley and George Cecil Jones in 1907, though the group describes itself in this first volume as having been around since the earliest ages in one form or another. Crowley wrote for the journal both under his own name as well as pseudonyms. Here, he contributes "The Wizard Way," "The Soldier and the Hunchback ! And ?" under his own name as well as "John St. John - The Record of the Magical Retirement of G.H." as by Frater O∴M∴ Scarce.
