Belfast Maine: Charles Giles, Printer, 1845. Second edition after an anonymous 1828 printing. Wraps. Near fine. Octavo; pp; 14; original plain pumpkin paper wrappers, stitched. Read represented the Salem Massachusetts, area in the U. S. House of Representatives, 1800-1803, before moving to Belfast Maine. He served there as judge for decades. OCLC locates only four copies, (Harvard, Bowdoin, The Peabody and one in the U.K.). Williamson 8418.
