This specific hardback book is in very good condition with a maroon linen with embossed border to the front and gilt lettering on the spine over hard board cover that has sharp edges/corners with minor bumping or scuffing and has a tight intact binding inside at the end papers and outside as well. The spine is sun faded but the gilt title lettering is completely legible. The pages are clean, crisp, unmarked and uncreased with no underlining, highlighting, or notes but with a couple of stamps by the previous owner and a library in Dublin which once housed the book. Although a former library book by virtue of the stamps, there is no card pocket or other typical library flaws. This is a remarkable book and is in very good condition. This is an original 1866 reprint of this extremely rare book dealing with the formation of dew.
