New York, 1822. Very good.. Two volumes in one. 215; 216pp., plus engraved frontispiece in each volume. Modern brown cloth, gilt leather label, a.e.g. Light toning to text. Collected essays of Benjamin Franklin, including the Way to Wealth and On the Art of Swimming, as well as observations on his electrical kite. With an engraved frontispiece portrait of the good doctor. Though he died in 1790, Franklin's works remained popular long after his death and were often reissued in such compilations. Relatively scarce institutionally.
