About This Item
London: Sanders Phillips & Co., Ltd. at the Baynard Press [1938], presumed 1st. (hardcover) 479pp. Very good in good dust jacket. 8vo. Blue quarter-cloth over yellow paper boards; lettering and device in silver to top and bottom boards and spine. Boards lightly dirtied at extremities. Some waving to the cloth on the spine, most likely due to binder's glue quality. Dust jacket with edgewear, chipping; closed tears at extremities; light soiling; NOT price-clipped, showing 5 / -net. Jacket in protective mylar. Erratum slip tipped-in at p.36. Perforated forms present and unmarred at pp.466-467. Internally clean. Square. Quite a scarce book, and exceedingly interesting. Explained as "the new conception of Christianity and of world religions (acceptable to this New Age) to be applied in practical form to every-day life as from this Year of Grace 1938." Care to feel like Alice did as she fell down the rabbit hole? Enough said..
