Original dark green blind stamped boards with leather at spine. Gold gilt lettering barely visible. Upper corner appears chewed (?), Leather very worn. Bumped and fraying at all corners. Extensive foxing to pages, but unmarked and legible. Binding and hinges intact with no separations. Wonderful historical data on Essex County Massachusetts. With historical sketches of each town and data on population, officials , religious societies, schools, military etc. No Maps
