Bound in period quarter brown pebbled morocco over marbled boards, gilt backs, marbled end papers, ribbon markers. Near Fine, slight toning at edges, corners lightly rubbed, small labels front paste downs. Each volume with fold-out facsimiles. François Victor Alphonse Aulard (1849-1928) was the 1st professional French historian of Napoleon and of the French Revolution. . Autograph Letter Signed. First Edition. Quarter Morocco. Near Fine. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
