About This Item

Doubleday [1990]. First edition, first printing. First Edition. Hard Cover. viii, 360 p. First edition, first printing. Translated by Peter Heinegg. First published Hamburg, Hoffmann & Campe, 1988, as 'Eunuchen für das Himmelreich: Katholische Kirche und Sexualität'. Catholic moral theology 'is a folly that invokes God and pretends to be religious. It has warped the consciences of many men and women. It has burdened them with hairsplitting nonsense and striven to train them as moral acrobats instead of making them more humane and kinder to their fellow human beings.' For this view the author, who is a Roman Catholic theologian, has been expelled from her teaching position and persecuted by the Church. But it explains why the Church spends multimillions every year promoting its bizarre sexual doctrines. Vg/vg. stock#21057a.
