Octavo, [4], 411 pages; VG-; Half calf and marbled boards, with morocco spine label and gilt lettering; Boards show cracking to leather along joints, light plus wear to edges, and moderate wear to corners; Textblock has moderate age-toning and foxing to speckled edges, and light occasional foxing to pages interiorly. RWO. Everett served as the charge d'affaires at the American Embassy in the Hague from 1818 until 1824. This edition was published simultaneously with the Boston release. 1358311.
