About This Item
Cambridge / New York City: Harvard College Library / New York Public Library, 1966. Paperback. x, 192p., 247 numbered exhibits extensively annotated, accompanied by essays in English and scattered b&w facsimiles. Softbound, 9x6 inch plainish wraps with a decorative swipe from the exhibit acting as title cartouche. Slight signs of handling and age in terms of condition, but former owner/custodian inked book's title to the spine with a brown ink-stick, a bit gross, but.. in other respects book is further marred only by faint dust-soil and a mild bump to one corner affecting every leaf, no marks or soil within. A good to very good copy with, laid in, a carbon copy of a paid invoice from John Howell Books, this item or another "excessively rare" exemplar sold for $750 Sixth International Colloquium on Luso-Brazilian Studies 1966.
