This book is in fair condition. Moderate scuffing to spine and all edges of boards. Gilt lettering on front board and top edge of textblock still full and vivid. Front and rear pastedown paper lifting up. Moderate stain to foredge of textblock. Interior pages are bright and clean.

The poem follows an Acadian girl named Evangeline and her search for her lost love Gabriel during the time of the Expulsion of the Acadians.
