About This Item

H. G. Nelson, 1910. Photograph. A real photo postcard of the Norwegian band at one of the Polson Logging Company camps, near Hoquiam, Washington. The men are holding a variety of instruments, including an accordion, an autoharp, a coronet, a violin or fiddle, and a euphonium. Five of the men in the photograph are displaying triangular banners reading 'Norge' with text in Norwegian below. A nice card. Very near fine. Postally unused. AZO back with four upward arrows.
