The 1982 British Everest Expedition of just six members set out to climb Everest's last unclimbed ridge from Tibet without oxygen. During the final assault, two members perished. Here are survivors Chris Bonington and Charles Clarke's personal account of a close-knit team which lost two cherished friends. Its honest & stark, and beautifully illustrated.
