Minor foxing and tanning to pages with heavier foxing and tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper and slight dog-eared pages throughout. Heavy tanning to text block edges and there are cracks to guttering with exposed netting. Boards have fair rubbing, bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Unclipped jacket taped down to the pastedowns. Small tears to the edges, corners and spine as well.

Preface is missing top edge. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. There is bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Tanning to spine and edges. Gilt lettering is darkened slightly.
