About This Item

San Francisco: San Francisco Junior Chamber of Commerce, 1943. Letter. Two 8.5x11 inch letters; one letter is slightly toned, the letter from Alfred appears photocopied with a slight rust stain on front, but overall in very good condition. San Francisco-born architect Alfred Williams was commissioned by the Public Housing Authority to construct commercial and industrial buildings during World War II. These letters may reflect some of his tensions within the Junior Chamber of Commerce - and a bit of humor.
