Boston: Ticknor & Fields, 1864. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. Reprint. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 1864 reprint of the 1863 first edition. 319 pages. A Biographical Sketch precedes works entitled: Natural History of Massachusetts, A Walk to Wachusett, The Landlord, A Winter Walk, The Successioin of Forest Trees, Walking, Autumnal Tints, Wild Apples, and Night and Moonlight. Appears to be professionally rebound with most of the original green cloth and gilt-decorated backstrip preserved. Pencil erasure atop front free endpaper, otherwise quite tight, clean and unmarked with light foxing. A lovely copy..
