An irreverent collection of anecdotes on the private, public and other lives of the American business executive. Inscribed, with an playful original drawing, by Partch on the front endpaper. An American cartoonist, Partch (1916-84), who is better known as "VIP," spent four years working at the Walt Disney Studios before becoming a regular contributor to The Saturday Evening Post, Collier's, True, and other postwar magazines. His cartoons are noted for their sexually charged absurdity, and by the fact that in many of his drawings people are depicted with more than five fingers on each hand, which Partch claimed was compensation for his years at Disney where hands usually had just three or four fingers. Orignal red paper-covered boards, with white titles. The dust jacket is a bit edgeworn, with some mild sun fading along the spine; otherwise very good. Inscribed by Illustrator.
