London and Glasgow: Collins, 1938. Hardback. Blue cloth boards, silver gilt design to front cover corner, 224pp. Monochrome frontispiece. Externally, spine very faded, scuffed and worn at ends of spine and corners. Inside, neat ink name dated 1941 to 1st free endpaper. Scattered foxing to fore-edges, firstfew and last few pages, most of the text pages not affected. Good tight reading copy.
