New Brunswick: Rutgers University Press, 1950. 338pp. First Edition. Inscribed and Signed by the Author. Illustrated. Publisher's cloth. Owner's bookplate. Very good in a presentable dust jacket which has some interior tape mends, now protected in a mylar wrapper.
The author describes the period post-Independence when New Jersey, like her loosely-linked confederate states, sought to become part of a unified nation.
