London: H.M. Stationery Office, 1863. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. 32 cm x 25.5 cm, vi, 62 p., 7 plates. The contents clean and tight with no inscriptions. Publishers blind stamped red cloth 4 cm loss to head of the spine some rubbing to lower outer corners, and some light dust soiling. The binding tight with no splits, overall a vg copy of a scarce work. The plates are line drawings of plans of the observatory's scaffolds etc + a diagram of the triangulation.
