Lions, William Collins Sons, Glasgow., 1974. First Lions Edition.. Softcover.. VG/--. Paperback.. Book C931. NON SMOKING STORE. My listing INCLUDES PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. Book Interior VERY GOOD / Covers Near Fine. Very gently read half way through but age has made the spine glue very dry. Covers are pictorial, lettering white in a red band, colour photo collage front and back. Spine is straight, solid, has a very slight slant, has a few wrinkles done during printing, very little edge wear. Covers are flat, clean, bright, no rips, no bent corners, one almost invisible vertical creases beside spine, very little edge wear on covers, they are in excellent shape. Page edges slightly sunned. Inside of book is tight, clean, clear, flat and seems unread or read once very gently past page 68. Book is slightly over-opened at page 16 with about 1 inch at top on only some pages from pages 1 to 16 loose. Book is over-opened at page 58 with the spine cracked and exposed but no pages loose or missing. Small bit of age darkening inside covers at binding and on edges of some pages. A few pages dog eared, restored flat. Owner’s name, date, small, in ink on ffep. No photos. No illustrations.

My books are from a large private collection, very well taken care of and rarely handled. All descriptions and photos are of the actual books I'm selling. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.
This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
