Camille Coulet Libraire-Editeur, 1878. Hardcover. Good. Rebound in half leather with leather corners and cloth faces, original paper wraps not retained. Visibly rubbed on corners and along spine edges, chip at head of spine, both board faces still look nice. Horizontal gilt title and author on spine. 21 x 25.5 cm; 124 pages (hors-texte illustrations not included in pagination), gilt on top edges with most of the interior in fine condition but a few pages are showing early stages of foxing and the heliogravures have left shadow impressions on the facing pages. Bookplate to verso of front board. Decorative motifs and calligraphy; footnotes; complete print run of 272 numbered copies (this is number 133 sur papier de Hollande).
