Cassell, Petter & Galpin, 1868. First THUS. Hardcover. Good. Massive volume, 9.5x12.5x2.75, is bound in green cloth and leather with red leather spine label. The leather corners are very worn, finish on leather is torn off on both front and rear panels, top 4.25" of left spine edge is torn, whole rear edge is torn, spine has various dings and chips head/tail. Lightly foxed occasionally, more heavily on bio and preface. No publication date, date appears to be 1868. All orders packed with care, independent bookseller since 2011
