No DJ. Dark blue cloth to boards has minimal wear, gilt lettering to spine. Neat inscription to front free end paper. Foxing to fore edge and bottom edge, sometimes bleeding into light spots on page margins. More extensive light foxingt front of book diminishing towards page nine, simialer at back of book for the last 10 pages. xiv + 547 pages plus 99 pages of black and white plates taken from period photographs and engravings.
