Rare First Printing of the Discus paperback edition (March 1972). Pages are clean and unmarked, but a bit age tanned. One inch tape-repaired tear along the lower left corner of the front cover. Moderate tanning of the white underside of the front and back covers.
Synopsis
Fact and Fancy is a collection of seventeen scientific essays by Isaac Asimov. It was the first of a series of books collecting essays from The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction. Doubleday & Company first published it in March 1962. It was also published in paperback by Pyramid Books as part of The Worlds of Science series. The only essay that did not appear in Fantasy and Science Fiction was "Our Lonely Planet", which first appeared in Astounding Science Fiction.
