Maroon leather boards, gilt cover emblem and spine titles on black field, gilt dentelle borders, ornamentation on five panels w/five raised hubs, some shelf wear, rub. Gilt seal at cover: "Amesbury School, Bickley, Intere ut Vincas". Light, blue, dark blue, and gilt patterned endpapers. Prize plate w/seal fors Amesbury of Bickley, Kent dated July, 1913; book was bestowed as reward to student. Pages very good; few w/light fox. Marbled text block at all sides. Frontispiece plate with tissue guard: "The Will-o'-the-Wisps." Bind good; front hinge reinforced. Several illustration plates of the enchanting, pastoral imagery of M. E. Edwards throughout. Printed at The Chapel River Press, Kingston, Surrey. 325 pages. Insured post.. First Edition Thus. Full-Leather. Good. Illus. by Edwards, M. E.. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" Tall.
